This beautiful church features in the Don Camillo films starring Fernandel and Gino Cervi. The crucifix made for the films was donated to the church and is now on permanent display in a side chapel.
The church bells play a melody at 7 am, midday and 8 pm.
We attended mass on the Sunday we were there and had the impression of a lively local congregation in addition to those (like us) primarily in the area for touristic purposes.
