This is an impressive structure with great views over the surrounding area. The entrance fee of 10€ gives you access to the inner courtyard and to the castle rooms that enclose it on two levels. The thing is, though, that the rooms are not only...More

We drove almost 2 hours to see this place as my wife has always wanted to visit. A bit confusing regarding parking and we decided to walk rather than get the bus, the walk is not to bad and you can take short cuts. The...More

The castle is really imposing, seen from afar on a hilltop, overlooking the entire region, due to strictly geometrically symmetrical structure looks almost otherwordly. There is not that much to see once there (1 hour enough), I strongly recommend to get audioguide to learn more...More

This an 1800-year-old architectural masterpiece and everything of value inside was looted centuries ago. Christian: Eight is regeneration and rebirth. Don't waste your days to visit this scam. 5€ for the parking, 10€ for the ticket per person, 1€ per person for the most unorganized bus on the planet to visit a magnificent building with absolutely nothing inside, zero, empty! Nice view btw.

Well preserved and beautiful castle that has a semblance of fortification but did not appear to be designed specifically for security but rather for beauty. Intact but empty, with great views all the way to the coast and the surrounding areas. Not easy to get...More

30-45 min from Bari and Trani, de "Crown of Puglia" can be visited. Regular entrance fee is 10€ plus 3€ for audio guides. These are necessary as the exhibition itself is only in Italian. A walk through the very well restored castle takes around 30...More

We had a lovely walk in the countryside to the Castel del Monte so we had enough time to admire its architecture from the distance a from different angles. The mighty building is impressive both from the outside and from the inside too. There are...More

Not really set up for that. Cold, poor lighting. Many more special places for an event in Puglia.
