We headed to Girija Temple to seek blessings of Mata Girija while we were on our way back. The temple had 72 grand stairs and was totally worth the climb.

Then cross the suspension bridge , walk through the forest breathing in the crisp clean air and reach the temple. Soak yourself in... More

Nested in serene valley, located on age old rock in the middle of Kosi river, this temple is very popular among locals. There is very big gathering of devotees on Kartik Purnima, the birth day of guru Nanak Dev of Sikhs. There very narrow and steep stairs to reach the temple, but worth visiting.

The temple is located in the middle of the river Kosi on a huge rock. The location is good and if you have time you can sit and relax a bit nearby. The stairs however which lead to the temple are quite steep.
