I recommend the gorgeous views. But the council has obviously designed and built the walkway as cheaply as possible. The steps are badly configured. Too deep and wide so they will damage people's joints. They tried to get away with putting in one step in many places where they obviously needed either two or three.

Parking off the road is provided. On with comfortable walking shoes and take your time to enjoy the view as you walk along part of the coastline of some of the best beaches in the nation. The walking tracks are well cared for and easygoing.

The coastal trail is a really well done 11 kilometer walk along some spectacular cliff tops south of Adelaide. Best approached from the car park in the Hallet Cove beach area it has some wonderful sign posted information spots along the path, designed to educate the walker about the history and fauna of the area it's a really lovely way... Our grandson committed to raising some money by a gentleman who inspired him to do so and to help him build schools in Africa. So it was decided to do a walk from Hallett Cove to Brighton Jetty. after weeks of awful weather, the day looked perfect to tackle it. We set off at around 8 am expecting to take... More

What a wonderful walk!!! I had no idea what to expect. I'm of average fitness, not unfamiliar to long road walks but this was far more challenging and fun. Started at the end of Burnham Road in Marino and then followed it through to the end in Hallet Cove. There and back was about 11km. Expect a lot of steep... More

I have hiked this trail many a time in the past year. It is well-maintained and the scenery is awesome. It is not for the faint-hearted, the many many steps are a real killer on the legs, but you can do just part of the trail and there are rest stops along the way. You can also amble along at... More

The broad walk at Hallett Cove is a fantastic walk but can be a bit of a workout for those not regular walkers. The broad walk is nice and safe, with plenty of rest stops. The view is spectacular especially on mild nights at sunset.

The walk from kingston park to hallet cove is just over 5kms and if you take side tracks and walk to the end of hallect cove beach it is 7km. Allow 1.5 hours each way at a reasonable pace. There are a number of stairs that go across the gullies and these are quite steep and will get you puffing.... More

This trail is one of my favourites in Adelaide. It has the most fantastic ocean views and the contrast between the red earth rocks and the ocean is just stunning. The steps are well maintained and there are a series of exit points to go down and walk among the rocks (or bail out if your legs get too sore).... More
