Not always open , we got in at 11am. Great views, and not difficult to walk. Check opening times, however even if you can't get up when you visit Castril is still a beautiful place to visit. Do the Gorge walk !

There's not much left of the castle on the top of Castril mountain but the views from there are breathtaking. The mountain isn't very high and the steps aren't too steep- you don't have to be fit to get there, you can take your children...More
