Large outdoor area with access to the Hooghly river. A museum, temple, and several sites related to Swami Vivekanandra were interesting. The place was very busy so not so peaceful. Gates opened at 3:30 so had to wait for a while.

We visited here by crossing the hooghly river on boat from dakshineshwari kali temple. The boat rides were an awesome experiwnce. We found the temple closed at the timings we visited but the quite ambience won our hearts .
