Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Advertised as an air conditioned excursion. There was n AC. We were not notified beforehand. We would have cancelled due to high heat and every seat on the large bus occupied. We were not told until after we were underway and to my knowledge he is still awaiting parts. Just be sure his AC is functioning before you board. Eight hours in intense heat is not a great day.

An absolute hoot whether you're a ted fan or no. Great variety of places, all associated with the filming of the series, but interesting in their own right.

This is the reason we came to Ireland!
Janet took us around some of the locations, giving glimpses behind the scenes and stories of when the series was filmed. Her Ted knowledge is second to none. A real expert.
We had a great time, visiting the “Lovely Horse” falls, where the over 75s 5-a-side football was held then onto the village where Pat Mustard forgot his *flippin’* trousers! Into Vaughan’s pub where Ted hid from the Chinese people he offended…There’s even a memorial flower bin marking the spot where Pat Mustard met his end.
Finishing off at Ted, Dougal and Jack’s parochial house.
A great day out and well worth the drive from Dublin.
If you love Father Ted, go on, go on, go on. You certainly won’t regret it!

The Fr Ted Experience was absolutely brilliant!! Couldn’t recommend it enough. Excellent activity for doing while on a hen party. Sister Siobhan made this day just so entertaining from the minute she collected us at our Lodge in Lahinch until we were dropped back four hours later. We were first taken to the waterfall, then the Fr Ted house, then to a pub in Kilfenora and then to another pub where we did the Lovely Girls competition. We all got so many pictures and had so many laughs throughout the whole experience. Thanks again Sister Siobhan.

Some people want to visit the Seven Wonders of the World, but Father Ted's parochial house has been on my personal bucket list for some time. Was so much fun to see all the locations in the flesh and our tour group was up for a good laugh. Janet was down to earth and had so many hilarious behind the scenes anecdotes. Afternoon tea at Ted's was the cherry on top and props go to the family running the 'parochial house' for making us feel welcome - worth the extra tenner!

I had a great time on the tour. Yes, a little bit silly and eccentric but still great fun. Janet told us some great stories about both the local area and the show. We got to see plenty of the outdoor locations and could pose for photos at most.

I would recommend paying extra and having the tea and cake at the House. The owner was there during the filming of the show and so has even more hilarious stories to tell.

Thanks for a great afternoon!

Brilliant day out. We got picked up from Doolin as we were staying there. We saw some locations where the show was filmed around the area. We booked in for the tea & cakes when we visited Fr Ted house for an extra cost but worth it. Tour guide Janet had a great local Fr Ted knowledge & provided quote signs of funny lines from the show to take a photo with. Great day was had

My husband and I had the most amazing time on this tour and we are big father ted fans. Janet was our tour guide and was great at giving us facts about the show and helping us to relive each episode. We opted for the afternoon tea which I would highly recommend. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Thank you for such a great day!

Great to visit some of the Father Ted filming locations and hear stories from the filming. The highlight had to be tea in the parochial house, which is an optional extra for an additional charge, but it worth it. The cakes were delicious and it simply doesn't seem right to be at the parochial house without a cup of team. The farmer's recollections from his experiences of filming gave an insight not only to the production of Father Ted but also to the culture of Ireland in the 1990s, which already seems like a different era. No women were in the nip during this tour.

We really enjoyed the ted tour. Janet our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw some locations where the show was filmed, Janet took some photos for us and we also enjoyed some lovely home baked cakes at the parochial house where we also heard some stories from the home owner
