We used to stay here every year with family. Moving the cellar from upstairs to downstairs was a big mistake its just not inviting! The man who served us was very, very grouchy and made me feel uncomfortable... and they were closed on the monday public holiday. This place has really lost its beautiful essence of what it was... my... More

The overall estate at Wandin was beautiful and picturesque almost like a movie. The upper villas by the swimming pool looked very nice. They had air conditioning, washing machines etc... The swimming pool was great, especially with all the kids that were involved in the wedding party. We saw move kangaroos that weekend than we have in our 6 years... More

We were most impressed with the Wandin Valley Winery. The location is wonderful and the entire property is beautifully manicured. I really enjoyed seeing the kangaroos as we drove up to the tasting room. We dropped in on a Monday afternoon and were welcomed by a lovely, friendly and very knowledgeable staff member. We tried some of their white wines... More

We enjoyed. Service was good only because the poor lone waitress was a trooper. Definitely understaffed. We loved the buckets of wine for $7 and the divvies were delightful but not especially remarkable. Overall a good experience. We had three divvies for two and two buckets of wine for $52. Good deal.

Attended a wedding here, lovely location with numerous spots for outdoor ceremonies, also good back up plan for wet day ceremony inside the barn, a lot of character and still has a great outlook from this location. Cricketers Pavilion was a great spot for the reception and the estate also offers accommodation in their onsite villas and cottages.

Wonderful wines and cellar door staff with views looking right over the valley. The cricket ground and pavilion offers a unique feel to the place.

We had a very pleasant hour of tasting here with a very down to earth Scotsman (not the owner!) who had many good tips on the different wines the estate sold as well as tips on wine drinking, storing and decanting in general. Beautiful grounds and a nice tasting area. Photos: Wall of wine, tasting and the grounds
