Can see this would be a sheltered place to swim but it certainly needs updating. Nice walk along the cliff top past ruins of something? All in all a bit of a disappointment.

Similar place to Piscinas de Fajana, but smaller and kind of nicer. Still it needs a bit of refurbishment. During hugh season it can be very nice place, but as we were there in November, it was windy and cold so bathing was not possible. However, it was nice to see it anyway.

the pools looked pretty but not that inviting for me although it was fun watching the mainly german tourists bracing themselves and filming each other getting in the cold water. That said it does seem a sun trap and has a nice restaurant and places to sit. The highlight for us were the red crabs that live on the rocks... More

It was quite an overcast day when we arrived, so just walked round to see the pools, and try to find the seafood restaurant we had been told about. A pleasant area, but the restaurant is the real highlight, see separate reviews of Bar Charco Azul. The sun came out as we were in the restaurant, and we the enjoyed... More

I had waited 15 years to see this place again and couldn't wait to return! A magical spot with azure water (as the name suggests). It was January but I was soon swimming about in it - an exhilerating experience.

Well worth the trip. We took the bus from Santa Cruz de La Palma then walked down the hill to Charco Azul. It was a long walk but so scenic and lovely. I would suggest getting a taxi. Once there we had the best lunch as we took in the view. We did not swim but we just enjoyed a... More

Good parking above this wild rocky coast. A steep walk down, then swim in one of the lovely pools (changing rooms provided). Above, sit on the terrace of a bar/cafe and eat delicious fresh fish. We had the sardines- some of the best we've tasted. A great overall experience on this special island.

As title, steep access may make it difficult for some but lovely pools and free to access. Good for all ages
