It's not open for public, but you can visit its some parts
Jun 2020
The castle is situated in the town centre. It is not open for public, you can only go to the courtyard, where beautiful rose bushes are planted and you can visit the exhibition about George of Poděbrady here. One part of the exhibition is about the sculptor Bohuslav Schnirch (you can see his art work for example at the National Theatre in Prague). All descriptions of the exhibits are in Czech and English. The entrance fee to the exhibition is 40,- CZK per adult.

Month-long Czech language course for foreigners
Jul 2018 • Solo
This houses a branch of the Charles University of Prague, where I took a month-long course in the Czech language. Classes were held on the third floor, no elevators, but quite adequate. Interesting atmosphere for a visitor. Outside our classroom windows was the picturesque Labe River. A very short walk away were lots of restaurants and shops, including a supermarket. The small museum was interesting. As far as castles go, I believe this is more of a chateau. There is a small pub/coffee shop in the courtyard which also screens movies. Very nice.

Study in historical castle
Sep 2014 • Family
This place is not just a medieval castle, but also branch of Charles University for foreign students, where hundreds of students each year learn Czech language. Besides you can visit Museum of one of the famous kings of Czech Republic George from Poděbrady.

Castle
Oct 2014 • Solo
The castleis on the main square of Podebrady. It has some bars and cafés as well as a hostel. The bigger part of the castle belongs today to the Charles University of Prague. In the central part of the castle is a museum showing the history of George of Podebrady, as well as a collection of cast iron and artefacts found in the old castle. I spent there about an hour, found it interesteing.
