Great place to buy your wine

We ended up here at the end of the day so missed the tours. I think they run at 11, 12, 3 & 4 but on our self guided tour we didn't think we would've missed too much. It's a good... read more

We ended up here at the end of the day so missed the tours. I think they run at 11, 12, 3 & 4 but on our self guided tour we didn't think we would've missed too much. It's a good place to finish though as you can exchange your ticket for bottles of wine and they have a list... More

We popped in while cycling round the area and were told that, because there wasn't an English speaking tour available, we could wander round free of charge. Great exhibits. I was particularly taken by the woodworking tools used to make the equipment for wine making. Lots of old machinery, trucks etc. Huge oak barrels. Lovely spot. Worth a visit.

There is a part of the museum that is free and its set out well in a fantastic building. Unfortunately for us, we have poor Spanish (something we are working on) and there were no tours in English at the time we arrived or for some time after that so we were not able to see the whole museum. We... More

Well worth trip to understand the ancient and more recent wine making history in the Rutini vineyards. The Cabernet Franc that we bought from them to go with our steak dinner was incredible, whereas the tasting wines that were served with the tour were a bit disappointing. Its in general worth it to pay more for the tastings, so you... More

We went to the Rutini Vineyards & discovered they have a great collection of items used from the past for wine making. We paid 100p per person for a tour of the vineyards/museum. But, at the end, this can be used to buy wine after the wine tasting. The young lady, who only spoke Spanish, did a marvelous job. You... More

La Rural is one of the oldest bodegas in the Mendoza region. It's such a lovely space and, if in Maipu, it's a short bike ride from Mr. Hugo's Bikes. The tour wasn't the most informative, but after visiting other bodegas, the information gets repetitive, so I was fine with that.

If you are a history buff, this is a great place. Not only you'll have a wine tasting at the end, you get a great tour of wine history. The place feels like you travelled back in time. At the end, you can purchase wine and what you paid at the entrance will be used as credit towards your wine... More

The museum itself is interesting in the sense that they have a lot of the old tools used to make wine and explain the history behind wine making. Our tour guide wasn't very enthusiastic during our tour and at one point it felt like he just didn't want to be there at all. He reacted to answering the two questions... More

Nice museum, showing lot of history of wine making in the region. Our guide was very knowledgable, but it seems that they have problems with the tours in other languages - recommend to check before going there. The wine degustation is limited only on two young red wines, we didn't like them very much. If you buy the wine there... More

The wine museum is beautiful, but the only tour when we were there was in Spanish. We ended up sneaking away from the tour and making our way to the wine store - you want to get there before the tour, so you can get a seat and get some wine - because we couldn't understand much of what was...
