Incredible looking place. The same white limestone as you can find in the Baltic klint in Estonia, but the rock pillars and formations are something else.

We spent a day driving at Fårö, reaching it by car and ferry from Visby. Landhammars is an important stop when you're at Fårö. It's a magical place to have a stroll in. The limestone formations, including the "giant head" you see on the picture,...More

This is a very unique place on the Baltic Sea. It is very rocky, beautiful and secluded. I will always remember my visit to this special place. I read that this is the only area in the world where these sea stacks are named “rauks”.

A beautiful nature spot which is very clean and well preserved. Take a walk to the rock pools to see the colourful jellyfish and little shrimp!

Going to Fårö, one should absolutely check the Langhammars raukar, that is for sure. It is very nice to see these big rocks, some with funny shapes. And also walk on the small ones at the beach, jumping from one to the other.

On the northern tip of Fårö you find this beautiful and interresting place created by the sea over many, many years.

If you haven't seen Rauk's before, Langhammars Sea Stack Field is the place to go. Beautiful landscape, wild with Rauks and of course the sea. Only 10 minutes drive from the main road.
