You can buy a bed here - it is a complete bazaar plus the most beautiful produce from local farms. Every imaginable French delicacy, cheeses, fish, meats, bakeries, and more. Like Thanksgiving every week. People come from all over. An experience that covers the main square and areas all over town. In the late summer there are melons. Very special.

Defiantly a place to go and visit in this beautiful little town. Hustle and bustle of the market filled with fresh produce. It is a real delight of a place.

In a word. Lovely.

We last came to the area 15 years ago and have always raved about the market and looked forward to returning some day. Whilst I wouldn’t argue about the quality of the food and the choice of fish there seems to be less choice and far fewer market stalls in the surrounding streets. It just doesn’t seem to bustle like it did before. Maybe this is the effect of the recession and the supermarkets. Overall it was disappointing but then is it my memory

Visited on a very wet Saturday whilst visiting friends who have moved to the area. Fantastic indoor and outdoor market selling excellent local produce at not unreasonably prices. I got 3 kilos of fresh mussels for €13 - bargain, there is also an ‘English ‘ stall selling UK produce - marmite etc.
The indoor market is worth a visit just for it’s architecture.

This is a lovely market to have a wander round on a Saturday morning, although it can get quite busy. The smells are amazing, from the fresh cheese, hams and fish. The bananas are some of the best we have had.

This building is fabulous as the quality and choice of local produce. A bustling Saturday visit is a must as the stall overflow into the surrounding area.

Try walking around the covered market and resisting the delicious food on sale, you will be tempted to try and buy.
