My daughter and I have returned from a brilliant almost-week-long visit to Kicheche Valley Camp in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy. Our original thoughts and wishes were transformed into reality, thanks to the excellent services of Expert Africa, UK, with personal attention from Richard Trillo. Our holiday was magnificent, down to the tiniest detail; everything worked to plan, and we were... More

My husband and I have visited a number of conservancies, national parks and game reserves in Kenya but we were particularly impressed with what the team at Naboisho have achieved. Until a few years ago this was an area which suffered from overgrazing with little vegetation of any kind and even fewer animals. Some of the landowners were encouraged to... More

A wonderful place to experience an excellent wildlife .Night game drive eagles view and ambiance makes the place unique. The conservancy is one of the best in Masai mar. The camps within the conservancy have most of the staff locally employed and that gives back to the local community and makes them appreciate the importance conservation and protection of wildlife.... When Troy from true africa , our travel agents, suggested that we visit the Naboisho conservancy, we weren't sure how different it would be from the Maasai mara reserve. We were familiar with the reserve but had little idea about how a conservancy operates. Trust me, it was an eye opener. Troy and Clare had planned everything meticulously and we... More

The conservancy is nice and has good wildlife especially lions though the time of year can matter. One thing the conservancy management MUST do is to discipline the drivers from Base Camp who were quite 'rowdy' and inconsiderate. Despite of having rules these driver/guides from Base Camp seem to be immune from the same. They messed up a kill for... More

A private conservacy - well managed and with beautiful and very varied nature. Not very many other tourists when we were there - giving us the feeling of a very private and authentic experience

There is everything here that there is in the Mara but it's a bit nicer in that it's quieter. The animals/great migration still comes here, although the landscape, whilst adjoining the Masai Mara, is not the plains but more undulated. Still, it's an amazing place.

The Mara Naboishi is one of the best conservancy in the Mara Kenya. It is very rich with much wildlife. The only place where you can see very easily some of the big five, eg, lions, elephants, buffaloes and cheetah. In this vast grasslands with rolling plains and thickets, there are also many species of birds such eagles, vultures, crowned cranes and... More

My favourite place in Kenya. Have lived in Nairobi all my life and my last 3 non-camping trips to the bush have been to Naboisho. Great game viewing without hordes of vans, and both properties I've tried have been excellent. I self-drive in from Nairobi. Both camps have met me in Nkoilale Town, then follow them into Naboisho and to... More
