Good for a quiet and cool walk after seeing the nearby Penglipuran village. Very thick growth almost blocking out the sun.

I saw this place accidentally on the way to Penglipuran Village, so I come back to this place after visiting the village. So quite and you can find different kind of bamboo. The bamboo trees are planted densely, so it's shady but also quite dark....More

Be careful if you come here by driving a motorbike, the pathway is really challenging especially when you are passing by the bamboo forest.. the road was quite dark!

Alas, this is...More

The bamboo forest is owned by the village and I think if you speak to the village head, they will allow you to buy some seeds. Just go to the village and speak with the village head. Cheers!
