My wife and I went with our 2 kids...glad we did! Great time....all of us had a young person who for their help they get horse lessons which is a smart idea. All of us felt more comfortable on a horse with someone walking and leading our horses. I wouldn't have felt as comfortable for myself or the kids being on our own being the city fold that we are. The young girl I had named Catherine was delightful and told me tales of things of interest around the Lake...such a pleasant young lady that she made the trip feel a lot easier and safer...Great time for all and the scenery with Erigal in the background was spectacle esp. on a nice day. Will definitely do it again next time we go back to Donegal!

This was the first time kids tried horseriding and they all loved it. Counting fairies and leprachauns was such a thrill for them. Recommended for young kids.

We did a 1 hour trek at the Wild Equestrian centre and absolutely loved it. We are complete non-riders but that was no issue. Hero, Ninja, and Skipper were lovely, calm horses , led expertly by Maeve, Emer, and Josh along a quiet road with the most amazing view of Mount Errigal. I would definitely recommend a visit.
