Very impressive tour where it is possible to see for yourself prehistoric drawings. As it is nowhere else possible to see such drawings because they are all very much protected I recommend this tour. Several English tours are done which you can book in advance....More

Niaux was wonderful, awesome, magnificent. Our guide was terrific, and so knowledgeable and passionate. The tour itself was extremely comprehensive.... 1 1/2 hours and deep into the bowels of the earth. Be sure to reserve online though...no tickets for sale there. I loved the tour...More

It is a very nice place to visit and spend some adventure inside there where you can see old paintings . Take care it is better to reserve online because it is not possible to enter without reservation

Fantastic visit in a small group with a superb guide. Amazing atmosphere making our way up & down through grottoes by torchlight- to see the 14k year old paintings.

There are lots of caves around that area. If you are driving from Spain it may be worth checking the other caves too. The drawings are fantastic though. Definitely worth a road trip. We booked a tour online before we went.

Hello There is a station at Tarascon sur Ariege a few miles away? train from toulouse Not sure about other transport Hope you manage to get there - it is amazing
