Located in a complex of buildings at the Songgyungwan Academy in Kaesong, the Koryo Museum was visited during my first and only full day in the city. After touring the DMZ we stopped here on a quick walk-through which took about an hour. The museum...More

Interesting step back in time to learn about the history of Goryeo. Helps if you have a knowledgable guide that can translate well

Just one hour after visiting DMZ in Kaesong is this landmark. Interesting. Not so many history objects. You will always go here, want it or not...that's what all north korea tours are all about

Various weaponry, statues and general relics of the area. I believe the tomb of King Kongmin was here or very close by. Nice gift shop for trinkets.

This is a picturesque and informative stop-off point on a tour, and a welcome and one too. However, there are better things to stop off at. Despite that, it does provide some valuable Korean history.
