Car parking is free but you can make a donation, which is a fair trade. This nature reserve is a lovely place to visit. You can walk around or ride bikes. The views are specular and the fresh air is good for your health. The café which is on site sells ice-cream and there are public toilets. Would definitely recommend... More

Lovely sarnies rely on good bread and fab sausages and the ones on offer at Attenborough fit the bill. Doorstop bread and three decent sausages Get in:-)

Not been for a while so today decided to go and have a walk around and see what was about, it was a bit muddy but started a lovely sunny day although in the morning we did get a heavy hale storm, we had a lovely day walking around and got to see some great wildlife, but must say if... More

I arrived with a group of friends on a wet Saturday morning. The paths around the lakes were in many cases tarmacked or at least manageable. Despite the constant drizzly rain the walk was really healthy and scenic. We stopped off at the cafe in the centre and I had a raspberry and coconut slice which was scrummy. Mind you... More

A great place for a walk and fresh air, and a chance to see some wild life, also the eco centre where you can get a meal is great, they have done a wonderful job here.

This is a very spacious place with walks through along the river trent as well as plenty of circular walks too. Worth a stop at the cafe for a coffee and doorstep toast.

This is a great place for a walk, I was walking on my own but felt very safe as a good number of people around without being crowded. Many paths are concreted, only a few are a bit muddy given the recent rain. Lots of birds etc to be seen and good signage all the way round. There is also... More

We had a lovely walk, saw birds we have never seen, obtained a map from the shop, good path ways to walk on, ideal for every age. Shame it started to rain, so just did short walk , will defiantly be going back. Well worth a visit.

Attenborough nature reserve is great for an amble with the family. There are a number of hides dotted around the grounds to take in the wildlife. There is a small cafe and shop situated over the water. Prices are reasonable and offers a great view over the park. A perfect place to rest and enjoy the area.
