Traditional buildings from the Edo Period to the Meiji Era are well-preserved. Visitors should enjoy the quite and peaceful environment while strolling around.

The whole of Kurayoshi has the feel of 'real' Japan. These warehouses are a great place to visit with some huge fish to see and some great local eateries. I'd recommend the sweet potato chips from the main shop and the Kurayoshi beer!

here is the one of the best places i have ever visited... even it is a very small area and suburban, you can enjoy the historic atmosphere around the traditional buildings... good place for a one day trip!
