It is interesting and good for picture if you happen to drive past. But it is too simple and not worthy for an intentional visit out of your way.

AirBNB at Coco X Cross. A GREAT AND CHEAP PLACE TO STAY (I don't give shout outs like this unless I get great service). Rental car from カースタレンタカー西阿波みかも店 (Caster Renta-Car Nishi Awa-Mikamo). (They worked very hard to help me get a car and my daughter...More

Nice spot to take a photo, however as stated with other reviews the roads leading to this is narrow and need to pay extra attention to oncoming traffic. There is a very nice onsen hotel nearby this statue, so it would be a good idea...More

It is a statue of peeing boy located on the small mountain cliff. it is interesting as it situated in such way that it feels like boy is peeing in the river.Awesome view of the valley from the place.

This is one of the least traveled places in Japan. You might think that you are instead in a remote Swiss mountaintop. We arranged in advance for a 5 hour taxi tour of the Iya Valley (with Iyakei Taxi - info@iya-taxi.jp - 23000Y). Our driver,...More

We drove out of Iya via the road through the Iya Gorge (Iyakei) and its much nicer than the road to/from Oboke. This old/original road into Iya has great views of the undisturbed valley, but the road is often one-laned and with lots of turns,...More
