We enjoyed the views

We stayed two days in this area. We recommend the usual sites (observation deck, lighthouse, short walks) but also walk back to the harbour and nature walks.

Not much to see, but good for a short walk along the coast to see lighthouse, coastal rock features. May not be easy to get there by train, or bus. Suggest to self-drive. With a km, the temple is worth seeing.

Walk around the beach and follow the path to reach the Cape. There is also a Tortoise Stone when walking along the path.

We visited Tatsukushi Coast, stopped at a local restaurant for lunch and took route 27, an easy road, to reach Cape Ashizuri. There was a Tourist Information Centre, and so we took a map of the place and started our walk to the Lighthouse. We didn't have time to do all the attractions so we decided to take the trail... Just enjoy yourself with the gentle wind from the Ocean and the splendid view! p.s. It costs you 4 hrs and 5000yen to go there and get back to Nakamura Station.

Nature at its best. Not so easy to reach by public transport, though. Great temple of the Henron trail close by.
