This onsen is a highlight in my life , to sit in the outside onsen looking at a three story waterfall with snow falling around me and gathering on the rocks and trees is just unforgettable . Stunning .

Definitely the best onsen in kinosaki as rated by some travellers previously. It's exterior is beautifully lanscaped, a nice indoor pool and a beautifully crafted outdoor pool that let's you enjoy a view of a waterfall.More

Was there for a day trip and only had time to visit one onsen. Decided on Goshonoyu Bath after reading reviews of the different onsens. It is the only onsen with an outdoor waterfall view. Perfect for winter.More

If you're staying in a ryokan, they will probably give you a pass.

Hello, There is no private outdoor bath in Gosho no yu. Gosho no yu have only public outdoor bath. If you prefer a private bath, I recommend you to stay in Ryokan. In Ryokan, there's a room with a private outdoor bath.
