Called into here on a whim as was passing and wondered what was here, lots of cars in the car park, so got tempted........ Very unusual selection of craft shops, even a tea shop for those who get hungry! Lots of wedding shops, jewelary shops, even one who teaches music! - and a wildlife and bird park to boot.... Great... Aimed at the 4 - 11 year age group, there is a wide variety of animals to see and feed. We have an annual pass and the only downside is that there is rarely anything different to see. There are a few non-animal ativities both indoor and outdoor. Avoid the overly expensive cafe by bringing own sandwiches and drinks.

We took our 4 and 5 yo grandies this afternoon. I was shocked that it cost us £42 entry!! On our exit, I looked around for a pricing tariff but there was nothing on show and therefore nothing to soften the blow at the till which I think is a bit remiss. However, after paying another £1 for animal feed... More

Great place to go. We took our 7month old and she was loving all the new things to look at and animals. Well laid out. Plenty of shops on offer. Loads of farm shops and produce to buy. Quite a lot going on here, they have craft stall, and the wildlife, plus from tome to time special events. Big car park and its free. Some interesting crafts going on. The café, run by Tiptree Jams is OK, but always noisy and full of kids, so not a relaxing place if you don't have kids.

Look no further... The whole place is beautifully laid out with "tons" of free parking and free admission to the boutiques and tea room areas. You pay to visit the animals. Buy some animal feed for £1 a bag - it acts like a magnet to the animals and enjoy having the palm of your hand licked by very grateful... More
