First of all its a good trail but seriously don’t try going in rain it’s slippery. To find the spot to park and go on the trail its little interesting hide and seek😂 . Take this place in consideration if u are visiting bluemountains as it is close. Once you can find the spot its great to go inside forest and less safety as there is no one you can find in and around. So don’t take the risk if going alone go with crazy Frnds or family so they will be there for an interesting adventure.…

We did the Pretty River Valley Side Trail. This 3.8Km loop can be reached via the roadside parking on Pretty River Rd. or the small parking lot which holds about 3-4 small cars Part of this loop is connected to the Bruce Trail. Do the loop clockwise so that you hike the Bruce Trail section first as it follows the Creek for most of the section. This part is rocky and very slippery, especially after rain. Afterwards the trail crosses the creek into a fairly steep section. You will then hit the Pretty River Side Trail which will take you back down the escarpment and by a small pond. We completed the trail with the Family in about 3 hours at a very leisurely pace, stopping often to take in the trail scenery. Hiking shoes are highly recommended, especially when the trail is wet.…
