Very nice beach. Wild sea with big waves and cold but nice. Nice walks on the sunset. We booked our transfers with faroairporttransfersalgarve.com from Faro airport

Lovely spot, sea was lovely and warm this time of year. Lots of surf. Pretty much had the beach to ourselves!

Walking along the cliffs here reminds me of Cornwall for drama, the big difference being that the cliffs here are mostly slate, so dark gray/black.

A large and beautiful beach with a large stream around it, called Ribeira de Seixe. At low tide you can walk a few dozen yards on foot through the sand. To the south there is another cove accessible only at low tide, called Praia das Adegas. All this region has excellent conditions for the practice of canoeing and for boating... More

We reached the Odeceixe beach after a long hike as a part of the Fisherman's trail (Rota Vicentina) and was mesmerised by the view! This is where the river meets the ocean. Stay there for sunset, if possible!

Nice little town with a beautiful beach at the end of the river. We started walking the fisherman's trial of the Rota Vicentina to Zambujeira do mar. Stunning walk on the cliffs!! And you walk almost alone over here in this time of the year. One of the most beautiful coastal walk of Europe!!

Ideal beach for families with children as from one side the ocean and the other side comes the river joining the ocean, creating a perfect setting for easy beach life. Just up the hill you have a few restaurants overlooking this bay.

This was my second time to Odeceixe Beach and I found it as stunning as I did the first time. The Ribeira de Seixe winds its way into the beach area creating a dramatic and beautiful vista as you drive in. A large swathe of sand is created by the meander of the river in its plain section and flows... More
