If you are there for night Sakura in mid April, you can skip this place as the night was extremely dim and we could not really appreciate the flowers. It was a nice park but not a good place for Sakura appreciation.

Dating to 16th century the castle is a witness to Imperial Japan of those times and now within the castle is a garden and a zoo . This is mere 15 mts walk from Komoro Station where one arrives from Sakudaira .
