Well worth some time at Komoro Station
Mar 2019 • Couples
What a lovely welcome this garden presents to travelers coming to the station. The plantings are themed and carefully tended. We are incorporating some of the design elements in our own garden, so studying this garden has revealed many carefully thought out details. Worth seeing in all the seasons, but later spring and summer would be the showiest.

Right next to the station, small but charming
May 2017 • Couples
This is a new garden located to the left of the train station as you exit it. Not all that large but a good assortment of seasonal flowers. There is a small restaurant on the side where we ate, good food if you like curry and at a reasonable price.

Nice Quiet Garden
Apr 2017 • Solo
Came to Komoro for cherry blossom with JR east pass (Nagano, Niigata). Took bullet train from Tokyo station to Sakudaira & change to local train to Komoro.

Once you walked out to the left of Komoro Station u can see this garden welcome u & a cafe, florist. It's a quiet relax town ...

A few cherry blossom trees near to cafe, can't stop taking photos as so excited to see sakura!

From there I move on to Castle & Kaikoen Garden to see more cherry blossom! Wish could have some time in the cafe ...

This is a garden on way to the castle as one comes out from Komoro Station .
Grown on it are many plants and flower varieties ikebana arrangements available for sale .
Volunteers man the place and every one is free to take time and stroll around having pictures and or sit in the cafe .

A nice place in the sun

People Watching Cafe
Sep 2015
This is the best place to relax, have a snack and watch people passing in and out of Komoro train station. When it's warm, there are tables outside surrounded by a garden and small florist. Prices are typical but service is always with a smile and warm welcome.

Beautiful
Aug 2013 • Family
A traditional garden now modernised and enjoyed by this small town community. The garden is been nurtured and cared for by volunteers. The garden is like something froma picture book and a greak walk around especialy during high summer.
