One of the best history lessons you will ever get.

Our visit is one of the highlights of pur trip to Sicily. I am Italian but i emigrated more than 25 years ago. My husband is American. We both knew of mafia from news and movies. Until today’s tour with Federico (in English and Italian). His knowledge of facts and history of mafia was one of the best history classes and civic responsibility reflections I have ever received. I finally got the facts straight in my head. You will not learn this in any book. The center operates with local young volunteers that want to educate and promote what Messers Borsellino and Falcone and all their colleagues fought for. Grazie, Federico and the center. Keep up your passion and the excellent work.

Not worth the trip!

Not worth the trip from Palermo. Guide was not too fluent in English. It appeared to me to be a PR ploy to improve the image of Corleone. We never knew the town had a problem with its image. Would have preferred a history of
the Mafia: it’s roots and how it began.
Not too easy to find either.

Big disappointment
Jul 2021 • Couples
This museum has so much potential to be great, but unfortunately it is a complete opposite. The tour makes no sense - it is not chronological, just jumps from some random story to another, without introduction or some ending. There are only some photos downloaded from internet, no interaction, no video, nothing. Just one guide with very poor English, who says someting about 2/10 of photos in a room and then is just quiet.
Spare your time and do not travel here, just read Wikipedia about this topic, it will tell you more.

It is very hard to find the place not really good signs for tourists. We entered for 8 euros per person without English tour guide. They allowed us to visit three rooms of huge photos from newspapers without explanatory description. Meanwhile there were at least 6 people of stuff who could guide us. Really Disappointing experience. Not suggested

Definitely worth the visit

The museum itself is small but definitely well worth visiting. We were fortunate to spend more than an hour with superb guide Maria Concetta. She gave us an excellent overview of the history and happenings of the mafia - and the “mafiosi” - right through to the present time. She is passionate and extremely knowledgeable, taking time to answer our many questions. The pictures throughout are exceptional, depicting the horrific influence of the mafia.
Highly recommend you visit.

Very interesting museum, great guide!

Maria Concetta is a great guide who knows a lot about the history of Corleone and the fight against the Mafia. The museum consists of the original court documentation and many touching fotos and the stories behind them. Don't expect glamorous exhibition pieces like guns and such stuff. This is not a circus. So if you expect thrill, don't go but if you really want to learn something from historians and scientists like Maria Concetta (thank you very much again!) about the strugle against the Mafia and everyday life in Corleone and Sicily then it will be a highlight in Corleone.

Outstanding Experience
Sep 2019
This museum did an outstanding job in collecting and presenting many details on the history of the Sicilian Mafia. Very impressive photographs show the reality - on the contrary to the picture the famous movie "The Godfather" has implanted in many of us. The voluntary guides engage the visitors in a passionate and detailed presentation. You could ask all the questions you wanted. They earned our highest respect for their work! We think it's a big value for Corleone and Sicily!

A great hour, good value and a real insight into the real world and human costs of the Cosa Nostra. Our guide was excellent - her English was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
