Very nice falls, short yet steep trail

The waterfalls are very nice, the trail to them from the parking lot is not long (15 mins), but can be demanding for older folks

You'll not lack for spectacular views, but don't make any plans to go swimming. It's not allowed. But you can cool off in the water downstream from the falls.

There are 2 ways to visit the falls - from Massachusetts side or the one in NY state. The Massachusetts side is a 20 minute walk down then a 20 minute (not difficult) walk up hill. This is not a hike. Clearly signed. At the car park there is a look out point we almost missed - glad we didn't.... More

This was a beautiful stop on a recent ride with my local Harley Owners Group (HOG). I will revisit again during warmer weather.

Easy short hike to the falls. Slightly elevated from the spot we parked but there was a closer lot. We liked the walk because it was by the stream. It was really a nice place to sit back and relax. Highly rec a visit!

We had just hiked Monument Mountain so we weren't looking for a strenuous hike. I wouldn't consider this hiking at all but from the spot we started from it was a short but steep walk to the falls. I believe we started from the NY side. Some people mentioned using a stroller but from where we hiked there was no... More

While I've been to the Falls many times in the summer, this was my first visit in the winter. Spectacular, and a lot less crowded!

We went here with our 2 young kids and were able to push a stroller through the trail to the falls from the ny side. We were told the other trail is shorter but much more strenuous. It was a nice easy hike to the falls the only issue was that the trail was very icy the day we were... More

This was a beautiful, fun stop! You can do a quick rock scramble ascent to get a beautiful scenic view, or you can do one of two hiking paths to get to the falls. One is a 300 ft descent over a quarter mile, the other is a 3/4 mile flat walk. Just lovely!
