Kamal and Sanjay are both very friendly. I definitely recommend going there if you are looking to buy a thangka painting or if you'd like to take some classes.

This school has some amazing master artists and students. It takes many days to complete a small piece of thangka art. All created on cotton material that is prepared in a special way. Well worth a visit.

Thanka is a traditional Nepalese painting style. Sure, you could buy a beautiful one for not very much money in any number of galleries in the valley or Pokhara, but why not learn it yourself? My wife and I had SOO much fun sitting cross-legged...More
