This may be misclassified, but we took the 171 lift up from Passo Fedaia to a point near the base of the Marmolata glacier. the lake at the pass is artificial, dammed up reservoir, but definitely worth seeing, really beautiful. Getting there on the road...More

We stopped to take some photos on Lake Fedaia on the way to Marmolada. I believe you can also walk round this small lake.

I last visited here over 35 years ago. Since then little has changed. The dam, lake and obviously the mountains are there but not much else to talk about.
