We Japanese associate the name of Matsuzaka with Matsuzaka beef. On the other hand, most of us don't even know there used to be a castle in Matsuzaka. Unfortunately the castle itself was toppled by typhoon, so all that was left was stone walls. I don't know whether it deserves to visit in order to see them. However you can... More

We drove around the ruins and finally found the only public carpark nearby. It was packed and waited a while to get a lot. Eventually found out that this carpark mainly serves the hospital next door which explained it being so full. Unfortunately, the ruins did not make up for the effort getting there.
