A lot of families come here for the day, setting up tents, tables, rice cookers, etc. Good clean water to swim in. However, the life guards are a too over-protective and are up your butt every 5 minutes to make sure you stay within the designated swimming area, which is too narrow to accommodate the number of people swimming here... We got to the beach on Saturday and it wasn't packed at all comparing to Tatadohama. No surfers, more ocean space for swimming, beautiful sand, clear water. More family type of beach. Very relaxed. Not too much parking space but it doesn't matter at all. Loved the beach.

Went here after seeing stunning photos in a brochure at have to say I was a bit diappointed. The sand is not white at all and the water not as blue as in most pictures. Also the beach was packed with tourists, but I guess that was due to the holiday season. Overall not a bad beach experience. If all... More

We came here for the Bank Holiday weekend, staying just across the road. The beach is clean and safe for families. There is a small natural pool area for children to play in, plus the sea has great waves for boogie boards. (Probably not surf boards). The sand is white (gets very hot in the sun) and clean with large... More

Spent most of a day here with my girlfriend. It's a beautiful beach, with clear blue water. We laid out on the sand, swam in the warm ocean, did some people watching (there was a very diverse group of people/languages/accents the day we went), and generally loved it. Only downside was the lifeguards strictly monitoring where/how far out you swim.... More

This beach has something for everyone. It is very well served by local life guards, and the off-beach facilities were excellent. The sand is soft, and super hot in August!, and the waves are great for surfers, boogie boarders and general messing about in the surf types.

We stayed at the nearby White Beach Hotel so enjoyed this beach several times over a holiday weekend. the beach is roughly a half-mile long, with an interest nook at one end which has a smaller private area in between two cliffs - though the water here is more rough since it clashes off the rocks. On the main stretch... More

My friends and I booked rooms at nearby American House Cozy so we could go to Kisami Ohama anytime we felt like it. Very clean sand (although not white), not pebbly which was great, and the water was also very clean. Fun for splashing around. It wasn't so crowded at the start of August but I imagine it will be... Beautiful white sand beach. Nice view and waves, crystal clear water. Family friendly atmosphere. Note: no Conbini within walking distance.

Kisami Ohama is a nice little beach. The water is a nice temperature and the sand is clean. There were lots of surfers in the water when we were there. There's nowhere on the beach to buy food or water so you'll need to bring your own. We saw lots of people bringing packed picnic baskets; one of the local... More
