Breathtaking views

Lovely views of Suruga Bay and surrounding areas. In a sunny day, Mt Fuji views must be the highlight of the trip.

Mt. Fuji has been hiding from the clouds when we were there and finally decided to show up on our last day in Shizuoka so we went to pay a visit at the park. You take a cable car for maybe 15-20 minutes going up to the mountain and enjoy the spectacular view of Fujisan. It was breathtaking! 😍 There... More

Beautiful views at the top despite slightly overcast weather. Good value for money and definitely worth doing if you are in the area. Only unfortunate aspect was that at the highest point there was a chance to sign your name on a lovers wooden heart but we did not see anywhere along the way to purchase these

Enjoy the tram to the top with lovely view of mountains. Azalea flowers bloom throughout the park. A lovely walk through gardens and Buddha sculptures. Enjoyable time.

We were told about this place from a local in Mishima, and we were not disapointed/ The day we went there was the first day of snow fall ontop of Mt.Fuji. Great views from the Cable Car up to the Panorama Park, and a few little walking paths up the top. Also great is the public foot onsen up the... More

The view from the top was spectacular. I enjoyed the foot bath at the top which was perfect with the beautiful view of the mountains and Mt.Fuji. The small restaurant at the top was closed when we went there (It was only 3pm) so no where to buy snacks for kids.

Nice place to look at Mount Fuji and spend some time to take pictures. Think you can hike from there as well, however, we opted to take the cable car up and down due to lack of time.

Come in spring or autumn. The views are spectacular! You can see Mt Fuji alongside the sea. The ropeway was also an exhilarating ride! The park is not crowded even on a weekend and I loved wandering up and down the different courses, looking at the sakura trees and various kinds of flowers in bloom. Had a relaxing soak in... More

It helps to be able to read Japanese or have someone in the car who reads it to find this place. I read Japanese and almost missed it. Once found, was delighted. There is a wonderful gift shop at the lower stop of the gondola. Local specialties seem to be oranges and strawberries. The gondola ride was great. It was... More
