I strongly encourage you to visit this park but: YOU NEED DRY WEATHER. This is must see architectural jewel of 18th century.

If you are travelling around Tuscany take a tour to Pescia and visit this garden. There is entry fee, couldn't recall how much was it, but it worths its price, the garden is a feast to the eyes. There are some parking places around, but be careful where do you leave your car, because the streets nearby are narrow. You... More

If you have young kids then this makes the perfect day out from Lucca. One ticket will get you into the Pinocchio park, the gardens and the butterfly house. We went as a couple and so skipped Pinocchio! However as a fan of architecture, both of buildings and landscape - I loved exploring these gardens and even enjoyed the butterfly... More

There are so many beautiful places to visit in Tuscany, so don't waste your time going to this town. It's lovely but not as lovely as so many other places in the region. The gardens are average, go to Florence or elsewhere to see much more inticing gardens. Unless you have small children who are interested in Parco Pinocchio, skip... More

A must! We visited the Garzoni Gardens as a combo with Pinocchio Park. The gardens are unique and stunning, really breathtaking, literally, as there are lots of stairs :-) Really beautiful and can be recommended.

We visited the Garzoni garden on a hot, sunny day - thank heavens there were some shady groves to explore in addition to the more exposed areas! The garden is formal and highly designed, with fountains and stairs with lots of sculpture. It is a little bit run down, which is surprising given the fairly expensive cost for a ticket.... More

We went in autumn, when there weren't many other visitors. It's such a surreal place that it was great to wander around the paths in the wooded parts without meeting many other people. The topography is spectacular, with the garden design taking advantage of the steep slope below the villa, with lots of tasteful infrastructure. There are many statues, some... More

We missed a train and decided to visit these gardens which were nearby. They are beautiful and the butterfly house was very interesting. I was a bit disappointed that not all the fountains were working as there appears to have been an amazing design for the original water features within the garden. There were some interesting old photos taken within... More

These wonderful baroque gardens really are beautiful, well maintained and full of colour, in our case well worth the 60 minute walk from Pescia station.
