Too quiet for young people
Jul 2021 • Friends
Amazing beach and wonderful pools. The place is relaxing and really peaceful. It's really enjoyable if you go there with a group of friends. A little too quiet for a young holiday. Except going to the beach or swimming in the pools there's no side activities organized by the structure itself. You have a wide choice of activities like kayaking or riding banana boat and skyjets but it's all on payment and a little expensive. After dinner there's not much to do. Even the bowling closes at 10pm.
I can say is a family place and a really peaceful place if you just wanna rest for a few days and cut out the stress of the city, but if you really wanna enjoy at 100% your holidays, there's more to choose somewhere else...

Palengke of Nasugbu
May 2021
This is the palengke of Nasugbu they let in an unlimited number of people at all times. Guest are urinating and pooping everywhere. One kid was standing by the pool and urinating in it. Guests encourage their kids to pee in showers and plants. If no bathroom just poop or pee in bushes. The guests spit and throw trash everywhere. It's like going to an SM mall during a sale everyone is just everywhere and doing whatever they want. Club management does not do anything except keep charging for everything. Just as long as the money comes in they don't really care if people wreck the place. They expect members to follow the rules but don't bother with guests. No need to buy membership here this beach is open to the public just as long as you pay for everything they don't care they only want to
develop the land so they make sure more guests use it and pay for everything. There is no benefit whatsoever in becoming a member here.

Good beach
Jun 2020 • Family
I really enjoyed my stay at pico de loro, they have a lot of activities that may be done and the beach was very clean. Snorkeling was one of the activities and i was able to see the beauty of the ocean. The place is well maintained, it is a beach to visit.

Relaxing Family summer gateaway 2021
Mar 2021 • Family
A year after the pandemic we have our first family outing. Pico de loro is accepting guest without age limit unlike other beach resorts.
Going here is a challenge for families with small cars. With suvs thats a different story.

We rented a condo in miranda. The condo we rented was ice cold and have a good view of mountains we can hear the chirping of the birds and you can do star gazing.

Pico beach is good and quiet clean. Although you can see some jellyfish.

Pico restaurant offers some delicious food. We ate bbq and chicken inasal although its very pricey. Pizza was pricey too.

The item store in the country club was doubled the price.

Kultura is open only on weekends.

Its a relaxing 3 day vacation for us. We will come back again for sure.

Poor Service at its Best
Feb 2021
I had the chance to visit this place again for the 2nd time. The 1st time was years ago for a company outing which we also had a bad experience and so the manager gave us free lunch.

Last weekend, my friends and I had a chance to go back at this place. While I can't say anything bad about the place, it is the 2 restaurants that really made us frustrated. Saturday night we went to the restaurant located at the country club because of the Happy Hour posted at the lobby, it says 6pm-8pm. We got to the restaurant at 7pm but we were told it's over. We didn't make a big deal out of it even if they advertised at the lobby that it was until 8pm. And we were in for a surprise, our orders would come after 30-45mins....not sure how drinks can take that long to make.

The following day, we had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant and we had the same bad experience. Our food came more than an hour, we noticed some of the people that arrived later than us had their food first. Then when our food was served, it seems it was missing some of its inclusion. The staff that took our order made a mistake taking our order thus she had to go back to us again. It was such a horrible experience dining at the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant was not short-staffed. There were a lot of them but it seems disorganized. Some staff even ignored us intentionally.

We wanted to eat lunch before we leave for Manila but after the experience in both restaurants, we decided to hold on to our hunger and eat after we check out and find a good place to eat along the way.

This place's food is not cheap but the service, is totally cheap. Not worth eating at either restaurant.

Worst place to spend your time and money on. Customer Servuce supervisor will make you wait for no less than 45

Already paid for a day's worth of stay only to be informed that we cannot use their pool because we arent wearing boardshorts(we were wearing sports shorts with the same ties and all which i used in other exclusive resorts already) . Note that prior to paying and upon booking, no reminders about such were posted. Even checked all their websites and social media accounts but I didnt see any obvious reminder. This also wasnt mentioned while I was already paying . This is a critical little info that should be readily viewable as this directly impacts the customer's experience but you obviously do not care. This was supposed to be an enjoyable FAMILY TIME but you RUINED IT.
Paid for a PRICY Entrance fee to JUST walk on the beach(how enjoyable and so worth it. nah!)

Restful and Relaxing Stay
Dec 2020
We were worried that they will require travel documents and medical certificates, but they did not. But there were temperature checks, and sanitizer stations all around. Spent Christmas 2020 here (Dec 24 to 26 2020). Rented one of the condos with 2 BR - Jacana B, unit G1. Took a while to check-in because of slight misunderstanding with the caretaker on where to meet but it wasn't a big setback. 10 adults can sleep comfortably. Unit was generally clean, but can still be improved. We loved that it was not crowded so we were able to enjoy a dip in the pool and quiet walks on the beach. During our first visit in 2014/2015, the place was more immaculate and more well-maintained that our recent visit, but maybe it's because they are on skeletal force and there's not enough staff to keep everything perfect. We availed of their Christmas buffet (P1500/head). The food selection was not as wide as other buffets in the same price range, but there are some good ones in the menu. I liked their galbi-jjim. For our other meals, we had them at the condo - it's not budget friendly to always eat in their restaurant eps. for a big group like ours. We brought samgyupsal sets and we cooked in the terrace. Overall, it was a restful and relaxing stay.

Pico de Loro - nice break, short distance from Manila
Nov 2020
We went to Pico during the pandemic. Airbnb was not available for booking. But we booked directly with the owner. The housekeeper met us at the gate and helped us to register with the administration and to receive the bands that you need to wear all the time. The condo was decent. The grounds are well maintained, but all the activities are closed, including gym, tennis courts, basketball, kids playroom, etc. The only bowling alley stays open nowadays.
The beach was almost empty, the water was clean. The pool is small but clean as well. You need to bring your own towel, otherwise, they charge you for using the one they provide. It's a nice place to get a break from the busy life in Manila. Just 2 hours drive. But a little boring as not even water activities is allowed.

Nice surrounding nature but way to overrated for the price it comes with. The beach is nothing special either.
