We only had time to see the museum and not the show. The museum is very educational and has some fun facts. More entertaining for kids than for adults.

From Nagoya to the museum, the journey took approximately 3 hours. Since I’m not in a hurry and plan to just leisurely enjoy the journey, the long hour doesn’t really bother me that much. I bought Kintetsu Railway Pass therefore I can enjoy unlimited Kintentsu...More

A quick search for the Iga-ryu Ninja Museum would bring up wonderful images of an idylic Ninja House and some amazing people in costume. What it doesn't is the travel time of more than 2 hours to and from this place. You would likely spend...More

Located at the Mie Prefecture, Iga City is known to the birthplace of ninja. Really appreciate the ninja show probably because of my deep affection with Naruto and with ninjas in general. When I visited, there are two different kinds of shows available for tourists,...More

The place is very far to travel to from Osaka (roughly 2.5hours) but nice to visit. The museum is a small and simple one but allows you to understand more about ninjas. Do not miss the ninja show! Though in Japanese, still very entertaining for...More

No need to reserve or book ahead. But make sure to look up the time of the shows as it varies per day.

I looked up Koka Village, and if you're near there and going to visit it, I suggest just skip this. They are basically the same thing except Im not sute if Koka has the Ninja show.
