It was difficult to find as the map locator is not accurate. We drove past several times as it was not well signed. It is free to visit. Someone has put graffiti on the monument which is disappointing. It was worth the visit even though...More

Marco Zero is a quick stop, but makes for some fun pictures. It's free to visit, even with a guide who will give you some information about the significance of the monument and area.

Well, there is not much to see, but it is cool to stand exactly in the middle of the planet, isn´t it?

A good monument with lots of eager folks balancing eggs (for some reason) and pointing out the adjacent football stadium that uses the equator as its centre-line. Well worth the visit

As with a number of other places in the world, this one you visit primarily to have your picture taken as proof that you actually were there. The equator (zero degrees latitude) runs directly through Macapa. The Marco Zero plaza has both a tall column...More

As in the title not too many of your friends can claim this and it's a great place to take the standard picture of you straddling both sides of the equator. Steep steps up to the site but there is a long ramp for easier...More

Taking a photo when one foot is in the southern hemisphere while the other foot is in the northern hemisphere can be exciting. All the tours head here just for that purpose.

There's not really much to see here. It's just an obelisk and marked line on the ground(which you can see in the photo). It's in the middle of nowhere, close to the sambadrome, with just some roads and large dirt car parks around it. That...More

Tem visita guiada sim. O pessoal é muito receptivo. O local é pertinho do centro da cidade. Não sei dizer se funciona às segundas-feiras.
