Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of the most interesting and eye opening (pun intended) exhibits I have ever encountered. Lose yourself in total darkness and learn to use other senses to compensate, all with the help of a blind guide to help you along the way. Different rooms and different scenarios helps you to get just a tiny glimpse of what daily life must be like for a person without sight. Not to be missed.

We participated in this experience as a group tour. Our guide Yehuda led us through the experience. Some of our participants found it very challenging but Yehuda led them through with patience.
At the end of the experience we were sat in coffee shop. Our guide played the piano & sang. We had a dialogue regarding his personal life.
I found the experience very inspiring & with an deeper respect & understanding for the partially sighted & blind. A very unique thing to do.

Run dont walk to this museum. Actually you need reservations which can easily be done online. Well worth the time. You will experience being temporarily blind (dont worry you will walk out as you came it but richer for the experience) and gain tremendous appreciation both for your blessed vision and for the blind people in your life. The experience includes many pleasant surprises

Dialog in the Dark is a program where you are part of a group walking through a series of rooms in complete darkness, simulating what a blind person goes through. The program is led by a person with visual impairment.
Each room is set up as a different kind of location, like a park with grass underfoot and trees and branches, a supermarket with fruits and vegetables you can touch and smell, and a boat that rocks.
At the end of the program, the leader invites questions about his background and everyday existence.
When we first entered the darkened areas, we were quite disconcerted but that feeling passed fairly soon.
It is a tremendous learning experience, and you will come out different from how you went in,

This seems, from where it, is to be a museum for children but it is not. It is from age 10 upwards. It allows sighted people to experience what it is like to walk around blind. The whole of the exhibit is in pitch darkness and is led by someone who is blind themselves. In groups of a maximum of ten you are led from room to room to experience different facets of life as a blind person would for instance the city, and you are encouraged to feel the objects that you come into contact with to try and identify them and to use the other senses to understand the surroundings that you find yourself in. Finally we were taken to a snack bar where we were able to order drinks and snacks and pay for them, also in absolute darkness and chat to the guide.

Very disappointed with the customer service. We don’t speak the language and thought we were registering for “dialogue in the dark”. Because it was already full we were offered “invitation to silence”. Only upon arrival did we realize the mistake. They refused to give a refund or a credit! Totally unacceptable! I will be disputing with my Credit Card company. Be careful what they offer you!

We made reservations in advance and was able to bypass the box office and print our tickets through a kiosk. Tour was enlightening and was given by someone who lives this way. Bamba factory is 6 minutes away and 10 shekels. Reservations are needed

I went there with my class and it was very exciting. You basically walk around in complete darkness, guided by a blind person, and you really get to understand what those people go through every day. At the end there is a room where the whole group chats with the instructor (still in complete darkness) and you can really ask anything about blindness and even personal questions.
