Red sand dunes may be promising to the picture and offers a panoramic view at the top of the dunes That's is perfect for view of the sunset! Please must be careful of pickpockets. The children at the dunes appear to be friendly and helpful to tourists in teaching them how to sandboard but in actual fact they make use... More

Highlight was people watching. Wonderful opportunity to see local people in everyday activities while waiting for group to return to the bus. Dunes are filled with tourists and garbage.

Don't expect too much but it is definitely worth a short visit when you are nearby. It is easy to reach the dunes by motorbike/scooter from mui ne/phan thiet. No need to book an organized tour.

Came here during sunset and the view was great. It is smaller than the white sand dunes but still good to drop by as it is different. There will be people asking if you want to ride the 'sledges' but we politely declined. Great to have a short walk to enjoy the view.

As the white dunes, it is a good thing to see but nothing great. Anyway, there isn't too many to do near so you can drop by.

Nice during sunrise and sunset because of the warm light. It is not worth to rent a "sledge" for the dunes as they are not steep enough.

The red sand is not as "red" per se. The sand doesn't look as smooth and isn't as fine and might not look as pretty in pics. If you go for a morning tour, you'll most likely end up here in the noon and it's really hot. There'll be some mothers and kids asking you to rent their sled, and... More

Some of the reviews put us off going here but because we were driving past we decided to go have a look, great photos from the top and really pretty view, we just wondered up and walked around, it was pretty cool.

Nice wiev and a special scenery for the adults and the worlds largest sandbox for the kids. We didn't rent so that we could sleed down the dunes.
