This is a pretty small lake, hidden from the eye. It's a very nice lake with ducks and children playground. It takes approx. 1 hour to go around it.

A real piece of jewel in the woods. Very serene, charming and enjoyable 20-30min walk. My wife and I traveled with our 2Y old toddler and this review will mainly address people with babies/toddlers. We read some reviews that said that you can walk around the lake with a stroller. Well, NO!! There are many cobbles, tree roots and other obstacles. It might be (bearly) doable, but certainly not recommended. Take a baby carrier. If you insist on a stroller then keep reading. We came there right after a visit to the Chopok mountain since both attractions are next to each other. There is a path leading to the lake across the bus stop near Hotel Grand. It's 200m from the parking of the cable car to Chopok. So we put our son in a stroller and walked. This path is impassable with a stroller. So we walked almost a kilometer up the road for a better access. This is a dangerous road with many curves and no sidewalks. Don't do it with a stroller like we did. Instead drive to hotel Mikulášska chata Jasná and park there. There is an easier access there with a stroller. Walk to a big, great wooden playground along the path. Next to which you will have a bench to admire the lake. You can continue a bit further for even better views. When you feel your stroller is screaming for help, make a u-turn and get back. …
