A great experience from the girl singers who open the show to the exciting sword dancers and the excellent orchestra comprising mainly of local high school students. Set in a perfect walled arena. Please take in a performance if you can.

Apparently this dance is only performed on the beautiful island of Korcula and for that reason, as well as the fact that they are waving real swords around (element of danger!) that made it interesting for me. A slice, no pun intended! of local culture...More

Not being offensive to the traditions of Croatia but this was really poor. The most interesting bit was when the set set on fire. A woman on the row in front of me fell asleep and they repeated the same dance for 45 minutes. It...More

It's kind of cool that this dance has been happening for 500 years but as a dance it's a little dull. I may have dozed. My companions enjoyed it more.

The show began with a Lindo dance (a dance typical for the region of Dubrovnik) and an acapella female singing group. The girls' singing was simply divine and it was a perfect introduction for the Moreska dance. Moreska dance itself seemed a bit repetitive and...More

An interesting evening with my family! Hats down to the guys with swords and all their jumping and the sparks coming out of their swords! We would have preferred if they had family tickets available.

The show was great. It started with a singing group who were fantastic and followed with the sword dancing, which was quite energetic. Get there early to get a good seat.

Only happens Monday and Thursday nights. Anyone can buy a ticket but need to get there about 20 mins early for a seat. Went for about an hour. Was good to say I've seen it, and they are very talented but was a bit reptative....More

We purchased a ticket two days ago, now we travelled through the whole island, and they say that we cannot attend, because it is only for the locals. I personally do not care about this show any longer.

Very traditional hour of well presented and organised entertainment. Lively dance piece based on tradition tale of goodies and baddies with a princess being fought over by two kings. Battle ensues, played out with multiple short swords energetically swung in an intricate set of dances....More

Tickets are available in many travel agencies in the town, too. You'll spot them easily when walking around the Korcula town.
