We love this visit this lake with our dog Ruby. Our latest visit being November 2018. We always park in the last lay by at the Kewick end of the lake. Never seems to be to overcrowded and in November we had our favourite spot...More
Beautiful views, stunning nature and a great opportunity to get the camera out. Parking nearby is covered by the national trust, it's worth paying for a full day which then entitles you to park in any national trust car park for that day.
There are regular launches across the lake if you can’t walk the full 20+ mile circumnavigation. National Trut car parks on the east side are £4 minimum but there are free council car parks if you seek them out
Stopped off to walk our three dogs...they had a ball off the lead...playing in the water, running through the trees and generally having fun!! We walked whilst our better halves were on the gin tour (lakes distillery) recommended with or without dogs and an easy...More
Shame we could not find a walk that would enable us to go completely around the lake. Magic location and the mist across the lake in the morning was a photographers delight.
No wonder the Ospreys like to nest close to the lake
