They do not actually make the rum here. It is basically a shop we're they sell rum. Then again there were lots of flavors of rum as well as rum cake. They hade some nice T-shirts as well that were funny as well as other little knock knacks. It was basically a place where the sold you overpriced tourist stuff.

Small tourist spot but the cake is very good and so is the different types of rum. You can buy things here, it is usually a short stop. They do offer free wifi but the connection is not good.

It is a nice store where they sell local rum and rum cakes, not really a tour but you will have a nice chat and taste their rum cakes. It is worth a 20 minute visit if you have a car and are in the area. Incidentally it is across from the distillery so you can combine both.

As part of a Carnival cruise excursion, we stopped for 15 minutes. Ultimately, this is not a factory tour. I did sample the coconut rum and bought several bottles. As far as the rum cake, I didn't think it was that good and did not buy any. The rum that you purchase is sent back to your cruise ship, then... More

ACTUALLY was a store with rum cake and rum samples. Rum can be purchased and will be sent to cruise ship by the stores, so passengers do not check it in upon boarding. Must know your room number. Samples were gracious and rum cake delicious. They had a 5 pack of Mango, coconut, vanilla, pineapple and spiced rum for $20.... More

Considering this rum is smooth and amazing, and the rum cakes are tasty, this is certainly not a factory. In fact, the person working at the store told us the rum is made in Jamaica! I think the rum cakes are at least made locally. I think. If you are expecting a tour, it isn't. However, if you want to... More

Our tour made a quick stop here. They gave out samples of rum cake and mango infused run. Everything was delicious and they sent the liquor I bought directly to my cruise which was nice. The prices are higher than I expected though.

Lots of people in this little shop buying many of the products. To me the most interesting part of this stop is the bird and animal display.

Sold locally produced rum and rum cake as well as imported alcohol much cheaper than on the cruise ship. Lots of interesting artefacts outside

We stopped here on a recent cruise excursion we created on our own. The rum cakes were amazing! They were moist and had tons of flavor!!! A bit pricey but overall I'd say it was worth it for sure. Each Tortuga factory in the Caribbean also has a flavor that is exclusive to each place.
