I walk along this stretch of beach on a regular basis. The walking path is wide and pedestrianised as there is a separate path for cyclists. It is well lit, so is ideal for evening walks after dinner. Nothing blows out the cobwebs like walking,...More

Although this beach is a popular destination during summer months, bathers need to be aware that the Yarra River channel runs just off the coast line at St Kilda beach and Elwood beach. This directs Yarra River water directly to these beaches making these waters...More

One of the busiest beaches along the bay. On a hot day it is packed and quite noisy. Water is generally nice unless there’s been recent rain. If you want a quieter beach, then drive a bit further out to Hampton, sandringham or black rock.

This is a nice harbour beach with no waves, good facilities and a good stretch of sand. The area is well maintained and the beach is popular with the locals. There's plenty of bike racks if you want to cycle here.

Lovely beach, clean and tidy. Clean facilities and easy parking. Visited for an afternoon, great with the children, safe water with life guards, shallow sloping beach into the water and just enough waves to be fun for the older ones! Well worth a visit.
