Relatively easy hike(walk} in to the grove but a steep return hike. Peaceful and not too crowed spot to experience the great sequoias. Definitely worth a stop.

What seems like an easy walk down, becomes a very strenuous walk back out! Be forewarned!. Interesting, and worth it.

Was a mile down and a mile back up, but was worth it. Had a ranger at the bottom with some exibits and Q&A time. She loved Sequoias.

This is a hike! Plan for it especially steep climbs involved. There is parking at the grove. We walked through saw some wonderful flowers and trees along the way. We saw the tree with a hole in it and couple of others.

A few but magnificent giant sequoias in Tuolumne Grove. You will need to descend from the parking lot into the valley to get to the trees and the hike back up is not going to be easy. Bring water and allocate enough time for the...More

We were disappointed by this place. Long walk down (so long walk back up) to see not very many trees. The most impressive ones were the dead ones!

A lot of the walk down is on paved road. Then when you get to the grove, you get to see about 5 major sequoias on the well marked trail. Well worth the hike.

This is the smallest Sequoia grove in Yosemite; however it is one of the most accessible. There is a mile walk downhill (steady) and therefore uphill at the end, but this is a pretty central location unlike Mariposa Grove.

The grove is beautiful and should not be missed. I would put out a word of caution that the approach is a mile downhill and the return is that same mile all uphill. We were told it is an easy walk, but someone who has...More

The closure gate for Tioga Road is east of the parking lot for Tuolumne Grove. Tuolumne Grove will be accessible in January.

It is a tarmac road, so a stroller should be ok, but it is very hilly

It's easy to find and the trail head is well marked, and the trail itself is paved. It's easy going down, but make sure you bring enough water, as the hike back up is a bit difficult. An 8 year old should be able to... More
