The place is really cozy. You can snorkel where you want in the bay but be careful there is a lot of rocks and a lot of peoples. You can rent snorkel set at the bay.

Hanauma Bay is a nature preserve, which means that the sea life there is protected from fishing and other human harm. The coral reefs are currently going through a (heartbreaking) bleaching event, but the fish, crabs, sea cucumbers, etc. are all flourishing. The beach itself...More

We havd been here before, and actually snorkeled in the beautiful water there but this time it was just a quick visit. It's a beautiful spot, and well worth the visit.

This place is a piece of heaven, and it is easily accessible by bus or Uber, or self drive. The flora and fauna are unique, and the beach is pristine.

This was by far my favorite place visited while in Hawaii. Snorkeling why? The fish literally swim up you and the near by reefs in chest deep water houses a variety of tropical fish. Just bring a swim mask and an underwater camera and you...More

Had a great time here. Snorkeling was great. If you’re an ocean lover you may get offended by some of the visitors that even though are told in their language to stay off the coral. Still stand on it and take some home. Other than...More

Had a great visit snorkeling. Beautiful reefs and beaches clean... but wasn’t expecting the fees to get in, shuttle down, shuttle up. Snorkeling equipment was available for rent but wasn’t the best equipment.. still a great place to visit
