This was part of my Pearl Harbor tour and what stood out to me outside of the beautiful trees was the court of the unknown. Our guide informed us they are now digging up bones and sending them off in hopes of identifying the bodies...More

This is a very beautiful space. Its so peaceful and certainly made me reflective about life. I had always wanted to visit here and am glad I did. We took the Waikiki shuttle there (Red, I think)

Following the Arizona Memorial--this should be a must visit place which is both moving and beautiful to see--a place where those who died so that we can be free are laid to their final rest.

We were fortunate to be in Oahu and able to attend this special ceremony. It was stirring. The cemetery itself is beautiful. Being in this place of respect and tribute graced our day and our entire visit.

The cemetery is well laid out and we had no problem finding the grave of interest. Also, grounds staff made suggestions that we followed up with the office.

I have family buried here and the location is always well maintained. If your on Oahu, you must stop by and pay your respects.

But would have been much better if we could have spent a few minutes walking around some of key areas of this beautiful cemetery instead of just riding a bus.

Not only is it a National Cemetery, it also the final resting place for the majority of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. It is a very quiet and peaceful place.
