No point for this place to be open at 10:00 when you have to wait until 11:00 for a tour. Yes they have a small expensive gift shop so that takes 5 minutes. You CAN NOT do a self guided tour of the inside of...More

This was 4th grade class visit/field trip....the "guides" were outstanding...really knew how to handle the kids and explain the important aspects of the museum.

Visiting this historic site is a must for anyone interested in Hawaiian history. The docent is extremely knowledgable and shares many historic tidbits-bits not found in history books. They also have a great gift shop.

The most disjointed ramble by a "guide" I have ever endured. People left the "tour" long before it was anywhere near finished.

building tour with a superb staff. Local ceramic dishes abound in the gift shop along with a selection of local history books. The tour is guided.
